NLE06 - The Irish Narrow Gauge - Scale Drawings

The Irish Narrow Gauge

Introduction

This book was first published in 1988 and was edited by Howard Piltz with the co-operation of the publishers of Railway Modeller. The author of the text was the late David Lloyd, then the editor of the Continental Modeller.

The first part of the book is spent with an introduction followed by detailed descriptions and photographs. The reminder of the book contains eighteen detailed scale drawings, printed on single-sided sheets, three of which are fold-outs on A3 paper. The majority of the work is from the pen of the late Ian Beattie, but with others drawn by Don Townsley, J.A.N.Emslie and by David Lloyd himself. The locos featured include representatives of most Irish narrow gauge railways.
